Let’s Imagine the Brain as a Big Cupboard...

Picture this: the brain is like a huge cupboard—a grand placard—where we store all the things we’ve ever learned. The problem? It’s a complete mess.
Somewhere, buried under years of dust, are words and phrases you once knew, shoved between mismatched socks and that fondue set you swore you’d use. You’re sure the English word is in there—on the tip of your tongue—but trying to find it feels like rummaging through an overflowing drawer. Frustrating? Absolutely. But don’t worry—that’s where I come in.
Samantha vs. The French Cupboard Disaster
I get it. When I first arrived in France, my own placard of French knowledge was like an abandoned attic—full of things I thought I knew, broken bits of grammar, and a few souvenirs from school that hadn’t aged well.
Like that time I proudly walked into a bakery and confidently asked for a pain au chocolat… except instead of ordering, I accidentally complimented the baker’s chocolate bread like it was a piece of fine art. (He looked at me with deep concern.) Or when I enthusiastically told someone I was très excitée to meet them, only to discover later that I had basically announced I was physically aroused. (They looked at me with even deeper concern.)
My brain knew the right words were in there somewhere, but they were playing an elaborate game of hide-and-seek.
Tidy Up Your English Cupboard
This is what happens to all language learners. You don’t actually lose what you’ve learned—it just gets buried, tangled up, or distorted over time. Some things might have been stored incorrectly (hello, false friends and badly taught rules), while others just need dusting off.
And that’s what I do—I help you find, repair, and reorganize your English so it actually works for you.
📌 Reorganizing: Bringing back old knowledge so you can use it with confidence.
🔧 Repairing: Fixing misunderstandings and smoothing out rough edges.
🗑 Decluttering: Getting rid of outdated or incorrect habits.
✨ Optimizing: Making sure everything is neatly stored so you can access it when you need it.
By the end of your training, your English cupboard won’t just be tidy—it’ll be functional, efficient, and frustration-free. No more rummaging, no more mental chaos. Just clear, confident English, ready to go.
So, ready to get organizing? Let’s start tidying up that cupboard together.
